Show and Tell Workshops

The PPFA's
Certified Picture Framer (CPF) Exam
Sunday 9am to 1pm

Give yourself an edge over your competition and improve your knowledge and skills in the technical art of framing & preservation.
Any individual who has been actively involved in the business of picture framing for a minimum of one year may apply for certification. Those who pass the written examination will be designated a Certified Picture Framer (CPF). The test will be supervised by Grant Smith of the Canadian Picture Framers School (ph# 800-252-0040).
Interested candidates must register at least three weeks prior to the test. Cost of the exam is $225 (US) for members and $325 (US) for non members. 2 Custom Made Fillets and Mat Decorating - Sat 1 to 3pm
Using handy material or waste in your shop.
Hands on participation.

3 Email Spam & Viruses - Sat 3 to 4:30pm
How to manage your email spam and viruses.

4 Mat Carving - Sun 10am to 12pm
Enhance your mats with freestyle cutting.
Hands on participation.

5 Conservation Framing - Sun 1:30 to 3:30pm
Introduction of hinging and other methods for proper presentation of artwork.
